Happy Valentine's Day!  

I've always had a special place in my hate heart for V-Day.  When I was younger, it was a day I would dress in all black.  One year I made black roses (by letting white roses soak in black-ish water - they turned out more grey than black) and carried them around all day.  It was kinda my "thing".  Now that I'm older I don't enjoy V-Day any more, but I do enjoy wearing pink and red together and what a perfect day to do so!

Today's EBEW challenge is colored pants.  1 week ago I wouldn't have been able to participate.  Luckily (not on purpose), I found these awesome gold/yellow pants at H&M last week.  They aren't exactly my size, but soon I will have them tailored and they will fit me perfectly!

My shirt is unintentionally in honor of the Missoni for Target launch today.  I can't even get on Target's website to see everything (can you say high traffic!) and won't be able to make it to a Target until tomorrow, at the earliest.  I'm crossing my fingers that there's still something left!

Whew, participating in 2 fashion challenges at the same time was a pretty difficult task.  Especially when yellow was involved.  I think I own 2 yellow items.  Well, 4, if you count mustard and chartreuse as yellow.
