I confess, I watch a lot of bad TV. One that is really terrible, in particular, is Millionaire Matchmaker. I think I just enjoy it because I like to watch bad 1st dates. I desperately miss Blind Date. But Millionaire Matchmaker is becoming unbearable. Specifically, the way the women are brought in like cattle and judged, the way Patti doles out critiques on every physical feature, from their hair to their shoe choices, the whole idea that a successful person is only interested in dating someone young and model-looking, and is typically not too interested in their personality or common interests, etc., Patti's ideas about gender roles... Do I need to go on?
But, anyway... yeah, for now, I will keep watching it. I will be hate-watching it, though. Just to be clear.
