This outfit was inspired by a Whoopi Goldberg look. The one she was wearing on The View when she went on an "anti-fat" tirade. I don't agree with what she's saying, but I liked her outfit.

Here's the thing. I'm all for being courteous, full stop. You don't know why someone is using a scooter, and it really doesn't matter. If they are using it because of health issues, whether those are the cause of effect of their fat, it really doesn't matter. As long as they are courteous and respectful of others' space, that's ALL THAT MATTERS. Someone else's health issues and weight are noneyo business. Matter of fact, I used a scooter in the grocery store the day I had knee surgery. Is someone gonna tell me I should have walked? Mere hours after I had knee surgery?! I'm also tempted to use one every now and again because I feel lazy, and the only reason I don't is because I'm CONSIDERATE, and I'm worried there won't be anymore left for someone who really needs one. So, in closing, it's all about courtesy, Whoopi, NOT weight.

P.S., we don't care why you are losing weight, or that you are losing weight. What you do with your body is your business, but you can't push your objectives onto others'. And I highly doubt you are losing weight so that you can take up less space at Disneyland.

And another thing... I've seen PLENTY of people walking that are much less considerate than people in scooters. Pushing and shoving people out of their way, with not so much as an "excuse me". So, yeah, this is just fat-hate (self-hate? insecurities?) veiled under anger about common courtesy.
