OK, I have to bring this up - I have a really hard time staying interested in and continuing to follow style blogs written by skinny women who talk about dieting and weight loss and documenting their "journey". I realize they want to be "transparent" or something, like they feel like they have to share every aspect of their lives, or maybe it's just that like this blog, they want to talk about stuff that's important to them, but I am really turned off by it. (And it's obviously all about me.)
1st of all, it's really boring. Can you think of a more boring topic than the number of calories in a bowl of lettuce and how many minutes one has to work-out to burn said calories? Snore... Seriously, you can't think of anything more boring, can you? (Told 'ya so.)
And, similarly, it's not like these bloggers are bringing up anything that's really interesting, important, or thoughtful that isn't talked about to death in this country. I'm just really sick of hearing about weight loss and dieting. It's an impossible topic to get away from, and I don't think it's making anyone happier or healthier.
