The Art + Soul event was hosted by salon, Art & Science to benefit the National Association for Down Syndrome (NADS). This event was held at The Double Door in Chicago many Saturdays ago (I've been a slow blogger), and thanks to CBN, Chicago bloggers were invited to cover the event.
There was a fashion/hair show,
a silent auction,
cool art (which may or may not have been part of the silent auction),
great music,
food by The Goddess & Grocer ,
and a speech by Michelle, a recipient of support by NADS. She spoke of her hobbies and interests, including her love of fashion, and her many accomplishments.

She was truly an inspiration. You could see the impact she had on those in the audience, just by the look on their faces.
