Last night I had the pleasure of attending the Topshop Spring Style Party with CS Magazine hosted by Très Awesome's Emma Arnold and the Amy Creyer of Amy Creyer's Chicago Street Style. I have never been to Topshop, so it was a great opportunity to check out the store and rub elbows with some of Chicago's stylish.
First things first, I needed a drink. Drinks were provided by Svedka (really good cheap vodka). This guy was my favorite. He made me a delicious cocktail with Svedka Clementine, Seagrams Ginger Ale, lime juice, and some other magic.

Then some light shopping. (Trying not to spend money!) I tried on a pair on sale, but they didn't fit. $30 saved!

I like to take pictures of the photographers, let them have a chance to be on the other side for once! Usually they give me dirty looks, but this guy was cool.

Towards the end of the night, I entered a contest to win $1K worth of Topshop. Fingers crossed!
I really liked her look, so I asked if I could take a picture. She wasn't sure how to pose, so I instructed her on the proper fashion blogger stance - pigeon toed and contemplating your shoes. How'd she do?
I had a great time, so thanks go to our hosts, CS Magazine, Topshop and especially Svedka! Topshop is huge, it's easy to get lost in there. It's a good thing they have employees directing you to the escalator to get back upstairs.
