Target Tuesday. With December quickly approaching, I've been thinking about getting a new winter coat. I can't afford to spend a lot, nor do I want to, on my
3rd one - here are some stylish options from Target.com.
Classic
A double-breasted, wool trench is a classic style that looks good on almost everyone. Target has one for $55, coming in a variety of colors, my favorites pictured above.
A shorter version is available in plus sizes.
Puffers
The one on the left comes in 3 colors - green, wine & black with a removable faux fur trim. Oh, yeah, lest I forget - filling is 100% down (combo of duck & goose.) I think you'll be hard pressed to find that for under $100 elsewhere.
Finding a puffer that flatters is hard to find for under $100, but I think this Converse One Star (on the right) will be. (I'll give you a hint - it's all in the belt.) I have last year's version of this jacket in black. It's figure flattering and crazy warm. Seriously, almost too warm some days. I'm tempted to get the purple one. $55 for a ridiculously warm jacket = unheard of.
Vintage
This coat has a vintage feel with the faux fur trim (removable) and gorgeous mustard color! If you buy this in any other color, we aren't friends, OK?
Alternatives
Classic wool, double-breasted trench, wait... with ruffles! In pink! This coat comes in a variety of colors and sizes in misses and plus. I freakin' love a funnel-neck...
All three options here are wonderful. Whether you want a
