I took a stroll over to Sears yesterday (on a different errand), but wanted to check out their UK Style by French Connection line. Currently they have these items on sale for 25% off, which brings them to a normal price-point (I feel Sears is a bit overpriced, not in general, just for being Sears). I've been looking forward to summer for awhile now (who hasn't?) and currently that anticipation is coming out in my shopping. I know that when summer finally arrives, I will be ready.
I picked up this romper. Everything I've read on the web tells me that I should not wear a romper; that this look is most flattering on a very thin person with long, thin legs, a completely flat stomach and "not much of a booty". Luckily, I don't believe everything I read. (BTW, I'm the antithesis of that description.) I'm sort-of in love with this look. (Side-note: You're never really sure what you can pull off until you try it on, so I suggest doing just that.) This will be perfect for a day or evening look in the summer or I can add tights or leggings and a blazer for a spring/fall/winter look. It gets pretty hot here in the summer and the days of hiding my legs are officially over. I plan on pairing this rayon romper with a long necklace and heels (a must when showing this much leg, in my opinion).

This top could be really cute, or it could be a trainwreck. I didn't see it in the store and didn't try it on. Stripes are very "in" right now, so at $11.17, it's worth a try. I would pair this with a high-waisted skirt or high-waisted jeans/pants and possibly belt it to break up the horizontal stripe. A horizontal stripe will sometimes work, but more frequently, be completely unflattering. Again, you'll never know until you try.
Animal Camo Print Apron Skirt, currently $22.42 @ Sears
This skirt might actually work with the top above. Mixing prints is tricky, a key to keeping it chic is to stay within the same color family.

This jacket is very versatile. It looks great with the romper above, but would also work well with office attire, jeans, dresses...
