This "Happy" necklace had 2 additional chains which made me look like Mr. T., so I removed them and now it's cute. I didn't know it when I purchased it, but this is an "inspired" piece. The original cost $1,195 and is much bigger. Mine was $10 and came with multiple chains. It is probably made from the same material, brass, which is incredibly cheap. Why would anyone in their right mind pay over a thousand dollars for a necklace made of brass?
Anyway... I decided to join the trend and do a favorite outfits from 2013 post. These are my favorites. I went back and forth between whether to do 13 for 2013, top 10 'cause it's a nice even number or 12 - 1 per month. In the end, I chose 1 per month because I realized I liked a lot of my outfits this year and it was just too hard to choose!

January
I struggled with a choice for January because there were so many I liked, but ended up on this one, as it was my first attempt at styling shorts with tights. Plus, the shoes are amazing. Plus, I got to feature my snood gifted to me by GothBarbie. PLUS, I found this great wall to pose near and my BF took my pictures. This was the first time (and almost last) I got him to do this for me. He's not a fan of pictures.
February
I love this blazer. That is all.
March
This is a great fall-back, comfortable leggings outfit that I still wear on occasion.
April
This was inspired by a look from Michelle's winning Project Runway collection. I really liked it and it was also one of my most popular outfit posts, to date.
May
May was a tough choice. It was between the look above, this, and this. This was an Inspiration Monday look from Two Birds, but late, so instead it was a pinspiration look. This was also my first post as "Swear Jars and Shoe Funds". I'm happy about the name change and look of my little blog toddler (not a baby anymore).
June
This was almost a no-brainer, but I really liked this look from this month, as well. I wore this outfit several times over the summer and got several compliments on it. I also had a really good day this day, so that probably added to the good vibes about the outfit.
July
This is actually my all time favorite outfit (at least of the whole year). Aviators, Black Hearts Creatives 'fat bitch' necklace, short shorts, neon, and the best summer shoes evah... yeah, no contest.
August
I love my white skinnies (I must say, I think they look fabulous on me), I love high-low shirts, and also light colors with my complexion.
September
I caught a lot of shit for wearing harem pants (aka "MC Hammer" pants) to work, but I took it in stride. This is one of my favorite looks, mostly because I took a big risk and I was really happy with the result.
October
The fact that these colors and patterns some how work together, is the reason for this outfit making the list. I had a good day in it too. I learned a lot at work, made a new connection, and had some delicious dinner at a restaurant I had been wanting to try for some time.
November
This look was difficult to come up with, initially. I was planning for a night out with a friend and it was cold as fuck outside. We went to a movie and then drinks/karaoke. I wanted to be stylish, but still warm, with sensible shoes, which I only own about 2 of. From that, came this, and I quite like it.
December
Not exactly winter colors, but oh well. This is when I think I realized that as much as I like black, I really look the best in light pinks, peaches, and corals.
