Confession: I wore this on Friday night and then all of Saturday.
Friday night I met up with my step-sister for dinner and drinks. This outfit was perfect for braving the elements there and back, whilst looking semi-stylish.
BTW, has anyone seen Bravo's 100 Days of Summer? I am currently hate-watching it. Let me tell you, if you're not from Chicago, these people are NOT a good representation of the type of people you will find here. And they go on and on about how we only have "100 days of summer" so we have to "make the most of it". First of all, summer here lasts for like, 6 months. We pretty much have 6 months of summer, 6 months of winter, and about 2 weeks sprinkled in between that encompasses fall and spring. Secondly, they act like we all hibernate during winter. Um... people still go out when it's cold. We still conduct business. We still get shit done. Lastly, I don't think it's possible to hate these people more, but every episode they prove me wrong.
Saturday was all about training it to the burbs to hang with the fam. I got some ballet leg warmers (that I sort-of stole from my cousin), had yummy fondue (gruyere & swiss... nom, nom, nom) and got seriously drunk (that's what taking the train is all about).
How was your weekend?
