Has anyone else noticed a large decrease in blog comments and views? I thought it was a summer thing, but I'm now thinking it has to do with the discontinuation of Google Reader. I can't remember where I read it, but I believe Feedly doesn't count traffic. Does Bloglovin'?
Here's a reason for the decrease in comments from ME from both Bloglovin' and Feedly apps: It's an extra step that always requires an extra click (or two) and sometimes requires me to enter a password, which takes me to a never ending wait-a-minute-wheel, which when I hit back, deletes my comment, and by then, I'm over re-typing it (I'm talking about you, Disqus). And a big reason for my lack of comments and views: I'm busy. Work picked up for me and by the time I get home, I just want to walk my dog, watch TV, eat dinner, and go to bed. I get some quick blog views in before bed, but it's a PITA to comment, in general, and even worse from my cell phone.
So, to the blogs I follow - I'm sorry and I haven't abandoned you. Please keep writing and posting pictures. I'm looking and reading, even if you can't see it.
