Another fitting room post... comin' right atcha!
I always see cute shit at Target, but lately I get really discouraged in the dressing room, because nothing fits right and everything looks like shit on me. In my opinion. Maybe you will disagree.
Floral Crop Top, size L & Matching Skater Skirt, size XL (can't find online)
This is just hideous, which is what I expected. I half tried this on as a joke.
Mossimo Tulip Skirt, $27.99, size 14 & Mossimo Sweatshirt, $24.99, size L (or XL)
The skirt was a no in the store, but looking at this picture makes me question my initial decision to leave it. I think it was a bit too tight, but I could size up to the 16. I might try this on again. The sweatshirt is sort-of cute, but I couldn't justify spending $25 on a sweatshirt. The front panel is a sheer-ish material.
Xhilaration Faux Leather Skirt, $24.99, size XL
I have several faux leather skater skirts and I thought if this one was nice, I could add it to my collection. But it was a fail. I thought it had pockets, but the website says otherwise.
Mossimo Pencil Skirt & Tank, $27.99 & $22.99, sizes XL & L
So barf. This fabric looks thick from afar but it is really stretchy and flimsy and doesn't hold anything in.
Merona Houndstooth Pencil Skirt, $22.99, size 14 and Merona Blazer, $34.99, size 12
I really liked this combo, but the skirt is too tight on my midsection & thighs. Sizing up makes it too big. It was really warm when I tried this on too, so I think I talked myself out of it also because I didn't even want to think about wearing head to toe wool (or wool-like).
Sam & Libby Ankle Boots, $44.99, size 7.5
I really like these and I may go back for them. I just really don't want to pay $45.
