I got my eyebrows threaded today. I laid back, and the lady goes "Do you want your upper lip, also?" I replied "No, there's no hair there; it's just skin."
Uh... that was super rude! If I didn't already have a complex about my upper lip (which I do, BTW), I would now. I used to get dark patches on my skin from the sun, above my lip, as a side effect of my birth control pills. I thought they were gone. (They're now on my forehead, in case you were wondering.) Apparently, I was wrong.
On top of all that, she made me bleed and took way too much hair out. I think I'll stick with plucking, going forward.
