I popped into
Kmart this weekend and happened across their
Bongo line.
I remember
Bongo from about 2001-ish and later and I was wearing a lot of it.
(In fact I just let go of a pair of well-loved jeans that were probably purchased around 2004. They were still in pretty good shape, unfortunately they didn't fit.) This is a junior line, which I would not normally advise adults to shop, but if you pick your pieces carefully and style them thoughfully, you can get a look that's trendy, whilst being age-appropriate.
With tights, a loose-fitting top or sweater, and high boots, these shorts will look lovely, especially for the a casual holiday look.
Classic chambray shirt with a western flair. Remember to size up when shopping in junior sizing. Typically, items are cut smaller than women's sizes.
The 4 items above would look great together, all for under $100!
I would pair this with jeans to dress down the sequins.
