Saturday I attended the Chicago Blogger Meet-up. A big thanks to Archives Vintage and any others that helped organize the event, it was a lot of fun! I met some lovely Chicago bloggers and I got to check out the Deliciously Vintage shop. I think they call that a "win-win". I also received a VERY generous goodie bag (pics to come).
On Friday the West Memphis Three were FINALLY released from prison after 18 long years. Read their story here or check out the book, Devil's Knot by Mara Leveritt. (I've read it and recommend it.) Also, check out the documentaries Paradise Lost and the sequel, Paradise Lost 2: Revelations. Their release is bittersweet as they were required to enter a guilty plea in order to be released.
