I finally finished off the
Walgreens wipes (all 25 of them) and found an old pack of Target brand wipes. They were doing the job well, despite the loss of moisture (no biggie, a quick run through the faucet fixed that up), but I wasn't sure if I would be able to find the same wipes now (they were pretty old, afterall).
I didn't find the exact same wipes; instead I picked up Target's
Up and Up brand exfoliating wipes. I paid $3.99 for a 30-pack, bringing the cost-per-wipe to $0.13. Compare that to MAC wipes at $26 for 100 - I'm saving $0.13 per wipe! (In case you aren't good at math, that's 1/2 the price.)
The package is requesting that I compare it to Pond's Exfoliating Clean Sweep® wipes. Let's just compare the price. Target sells
Pond's Clean Sweep towelettes at $4.69 for a 30-pack. Yup! Saving money with the Target brand!
So, how do they work?
Great! (Duh! Hence the "bank" rating!)
These wipes remove waterproof mascara completely. (Unlike the Walgreens wipes that barely did the job.) They smell great and don't irritate my eyes. As for exfoliating, I guess they do that, but it's very gentle. These wipes are very soft but efficient; there's no need to scrub to get everything off.
