I feel very french today. Oui, oui. I took French in middle school (6-8) and didn't retain anything except "je m'appelle" = "my name is" and "comme ci, comme ça" = "so-so". 3 years, 2 phrases. And one of them is 1 word repeated. Pathetic. Oh! I also know "merde". And any other ballet phrases. Which will serve me well if I ever have to tell someone to do the step of the cat, or horse, or 5 beats.
