What's a Clothing Swap you ask? Wikipedia states it's a "type of swapmeet wherein participants exchange their valued but no longer used clothing for clothing they will use. Clothing swaps are considered not only a good way to declutter and refill one's wardrobe, but also are considered an act of environmentalism."
When people hear the word "swap" or "exchange" they picture me holding an item I will only give up for an item that I want of yours that you are willing to give up. That's not how my Clothing Swap events work. At my Clothing Swap, you bring your unwanted items - clothing, shoes, handbags, etc. - and just let people pick through them. Or just bring yourself and take things. Or just come to socialize and possibly make new friends. Who couldn't use more friends?
